The LGBTQ+ working group was created to be a subgroup of the Community & Global Outreach committee. Anyone who has a passion for inclusion and affirming of LGBTQ people within the church and is interested in taking action within the topic is encouraged to join. There are other related opportunities for those who would like to learn more and/or volunteer. Please see the additional details below:

Being part of the working group - attend periodic meetings or correspond via email to determine action steps for Morrow such as defining LGBTQ affirming statements on the Morrow website, proposing educational or learning opportunities for people in the Morrow community, and coordinating outreach/volunteer opportunities like North Jersey Pride in Maplewood.
